Worried About Your Thyroid Health?

Thyroid & Parathyroid Conditions We Treat

Early detection and treatment can ensure better outcomes and less serious complications.
Autoimmune Inflammatory Thyroid Disease
Conditions like Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease, where the immune system attacks the thyroid, causing inflammation, swelling, or changes in hormone levels.
An enlargement or abnormal growth of the thyroid gland, which can cause neck swelling, discomfort, or cosmetic concerns.
The most common type of thyroid cancer, often slow-growing, which may be monitored or treated with targeted ablation instead of surgery in select cases.
Nodules with features that require close evaluation to rule out malignancy, which can often be assessed and treated with minimally invasive techniques.
Disorders affecting thyroid hormone production, including hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) and hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), impacting metabolism and overall health.
Lumps or growths in the thyroid, which are mostly benign but may cause symptoms like swelling, pain, or hormone imbalance; many can be treated non-surgically.

Find Relief Without Surgery

Our Services

Non-surgical and surgical treatments for thyroid and parathyroid conditions using the latest technologies.

Radiofrequency
Ablation (RFA)

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

The gold standard non-surgical treatment. Heat energy shrinks thyroid nodules in a single in-office session, no incision, no scar, no downtime.

Microwave
Ablation (MWA)

Microwave Ablation (MWA)

Faster, more intense heat delivery, particularly effective for larger nodules that resist standard RFA. Up to 80% shrinkage in 3 months.

nPulse™

nPulse™

nsPFA™ Non-Thermal Ablation World’s first 100 cases performed by Dr. Kandil. Ultra-fast electrical pulses with zero heat, the safest option for nodules near critical anatomy.

Robotic Thyroid Surgery

Robotic Thyroid Surgery

Minimally invasive solution for cystic thyroid nodules. A precise injection eliminates the cyst without surgery or general anesthesia.

Meet the Doctor

Meet one of the most experienced surgeons in North
America in thyroid and parathyroid ablation procedures:

Dr. Emad Kandil

MD, MBA, FACS, FACE

Dr. Kandil has spent over 20 years doing one thing: finding ways to treat thyroid and parathyroid conditions, He’s performed more than 6,000 thyroid operations, 2,000+ ablations, and 1,000+ robotic procedures, more than any other surgeon in North America.
He trained at SUNY Downstate and Johns Hopkins, spent two decades as Chief of Endocrine Surgery at Tulane, and has published over 500 peer-reviewed articles cited more than 15,700 times.
But what patients remember most isn’t the credentials. It’s that he listens, explains every option, and never recommends surgery when something less invasive will work.
